Electricity Networks Corporation, which operates as Western Power, is a State Government-owned corporation that builds, maintains and operates the transmission and distribution electricity network of the South West Interconnected System (SWIS) in Western Australia. The network delivers power to 2.3 million customers and connects homes, businesses and essential community infrastructure to an increasingly renewable energy mix. The corporation has been in operation for over 70 years.

Field and technical work spans electricity transmission, electricity distribution and power grid infrastructure across Western Australia, including the northern, central and eastern corridors of the state as well as the south-west. Current programmes include the rollout of microgrids and battery energy storage, the development of self-managing "autonomous networks" designed to withstand climate change, renewable energy integration, grid resilience and climate adaptation, and industrial decarbonisation. $126m has been allocated to planning works.

Safety, reliability and affordability of electricity are the stated operating priorities, alongside a vision of "working together to power a cleaner energy future". As a State Government-owned corporation, its work is oriented towards regional economic growth and community infrastructure, and towards building capacity for the renewable energy transition.
